At the time of writing this article, TimTheTatman has over 7 million followers making him the 11th most followed channel on Twitch. With an average viewership of 41,033 viewers, he was one of the biggest streamers on the platform.

Timothy John Betar, better known as TimTheTatman, was always passionate about gaming. He started streaming on Twitch in 2012 with Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. However, he wasn’t always the successful full-time streamer that you know today.
Gradually, Tim started creating montages and highlight videos to upload on YouTube while variety streaming on Twitch. His unique energy, passion for playing video games, and lively personality drew viewers to his content.
TimTheTatman decided to quit his job and focus on full-time content creation in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since. In 2017, along with several other creators, TimTheTatman rose to new heights in popularity thanks to Fortnite.
His ability to always remain positive, great sense of humor, and energetic personality made TimTheTatman one of Twitch’s biggest streamers. In 2020, TimTheTatman’s hilarious struggle to win a game of Fall Guys drew in 340,000 viewers to his stream.
And while TimTheTatman will continue to create content and entertain thousands of viewers, he won’t be doing so on Twitch.
TimTheTatman Signs Exclusive Deal With YouTube
In an announcement posted on Twitter, TimTheTatman said that his future lies with YouTube Gaming.
His move to YouTube didn’t come as a surprise, as it was widely speculated that the content creator would switch platforms once his current contract with Twitch expires. However, his departure from Twitch does leave behind a big impact.

Additionally, TimTheTatman also wants to spend less time playing video games on stream and spend more time with his family.
TimTheTatman knows that it’ll take time for people to get used to the change as he’s spent a considerable amount of time on Twitch. But he’s confident the change will end up being better in the long run.
