Until today, Twitch would payout its creators once they reached the threshold of $100. Starting from July 15, 2022, Twitch has cut the payout threshold in half from $100 to $50. And this allows creators to see the fruits of their hard work faster and more frequently.
To receive money earned via subscriptions, bits, and advertisements, creators had to wait until they had reached a minimum of $100. Many small and upcoming creators would have to wait three to four months before getting any money they had worked for.

According to Twitch, the lower $50 minimum payout is available through the most popular payment methods: ACH/direct deposit, eCheck/local bank, PayPal, and check. Wire transfer payments will still require a $100 minimum due to transfer fees.
Creators will receive an e-mail notification from Twitch as they continue to rollout lower payout threshold in a phased manner. By November 2022, creators from all over the world will enjoy the lower payout threshold.
